Job Description:


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Town and Country, MO that is seeking a System Administrator.

Incident Response:


  • Lead the incident response process, from initial detection through resolution and post-incident review

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to contain and remediate security incidents

  • Analyze incident data to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence

Monitoring and Detection:

  • Utilize advanced monitoring tools and techniques to detect and respond to security incidents

  • Continuously monitor security alerts and notifications, ensuring timely identification and escalation of potential threats

  • Maintain and update incident response procedures and playbooks

Communication and Reporting:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all incident-related communications

  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including senior management, on the status and impact of ongoing incidents

  • Prepare detailed incident reports and post-incident analysis documentation

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to enhance incident response processes and procedures

  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement best practices for incident management

  • Conduct regular training sessions and simulations to improve team readiness and response capabilities

Compliance and Governance:

  • Ensure all incident management activities comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements

  • Participate in audits and assessments to validate the effectiveness of incident management controls and processes







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience in incident management, IT security, or a related role

  • Strong understanding of security principles, threat landscape, and incident response methodologies

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
