Job Description:

Please Note: We will begin reviewing and prescreening applicants starting on September 10, 2024, and will continue this process through the duration of the Fall Career Fairs we are attending. Communication regarding next steps, including interviews, will begin the week of October 14, 2024.

Hourly Wage:

$16.90 - $18.92

(candidates with significant related experience may be higher)

Description:

The Multimedia Marketing Intern is responsible for assisting the Multimedia Marketing Coordinator with creating, developing, and coordinating all videography, photography, and multimedia initiatives to successfully achieve our goals and build awareness of Royal Credit Union across all of our markets. The Multimedia Marketing Intern has a creative mindset with an understanding of the technical aspects of digital photography, videography, animation, and web graphics.  

Work Schedule:


  • Working approximately 15-20 hours per week during the school year and up to 35-40 hours per week during the summer.

  • Must be able to work onsite at Royal Credit Union Corporate Center in Eau Claire, WI throughout the school year and during breaks. Remote work may be available if certain criteria are met. 

  • This is a limited term, non-benefit eligible, position that will start May 2025 and go through May 2026. If selected for the internship, you must be able to commit to the full 12 months.

Training:

Prior to starting a normal work schedule, new Royal team members must attend Foundation Training at our Corporate Center in Eau Claire, WI from 9:00am - 4:30pm on Monday and Tuesday during their first week of employment. Out of town learners will be reimbursed costs related to travel and lodging. 

  • Foundation Training covers fundamental information about Royal’s culture and core values which sets the stage for team members to be successful within our organization.

Required Education/Experience/Skills:


  • Enrolled at a University or Technical College throughout the length of the internship, pursuing a degree in Film/Video Production, Marketing, Entertainment Design, Multimedia, Videography, or similar field.  

  • Understanding of current design trends and related marketing techniques. 

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills.

  • Strong work ethic 

  • Experience with marketing computer software. 

  • Willingness to learn on the job and share experiences with other members of the team.

  • Work efficiently in a high volume environment with multiple deadlines and changing priorities.

  • Communicate and live RCU's core purpose and values, these define and drive our organizational culture.

Preferred Education/Experience/Skills: 


  • Experience with script writing and storyboarding

  • Experience with photography, videography, and video production

  • Experience with Adobe Audition and all Adobe Creative Cloud software
