The Program Analyst and Facilitator is responsible for analyzing and improving program performance while facilitating effective group processes. This dual role combines analytical skills to assess and optimize program outcomes with facilitation expertise to guide and manage meetings, workshops, and team activities. The ideal candidate will ensure meetings meet their objectives and that group interactions are productive and efficient. This role is remote but is expected to work during Eastern Time Zone hours.


Responsibilities


Online Tool Coordination and Technical Assistance

  • Research and coordinate the set-up of an online information gathering tool for collaborative use by meeting participants and stakeholders.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to online tool, including set-up errors, connectivity problems, and user errors.

  • Provide online tool assistance and resolve technical difficulties for users as needed.

  • Provide clear and concise instructions user guides, FAQs, and other documentation on how to use the online tool's features and functionalities.

  • Conduct one-on-one or group training sessions to educate users on best practices and advanced features.

  • Document and track support issues, including detailed descriptions, steps taken, and resolutions.

Facilitation

  • Develop agenda, materials, questions, and activities for committee and sub-committee meetings.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to understand objectives and requirements for committee and sub-committee meetings.

  • Lead and manage group discussions, ensuring participation from all stakeholders.

  • Guide the group towards achieving objectives while maintaining a neutral and collaborative atmosphere.

  • Collect feedback from participants to assess the effectiveness of the session.

  • Document key points, decisions, and action items from meetings.

  • Prepare and distribute summary reports and follow-up materials.

  • Maintain records of participant feedback and outcomes.

Data Analysis

  • Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from various sources to support the program requirements.

  • Develop and implement data models, metrics, and performance indicators.

  • Generate reports and visualizations to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.

  • Identify trends, patterns, and insights to inform stakeholders.

  • Collect data submitted in various source files, input, and standardize to ensure consistent formatting and reporting.

  • Identify missing, incorrect and duplicative variables and data and resolve or report as required.

  • Review correspondence related to incoming data and work with appropriate program staff for follow-up or resolution as required in a timely manner.

  • Create charts and pivot tables based on data collection and analysis.

  • Maintain and update data and files ensuring version control.


Qualifications


  • Proven experience in facilitation, training, or group management


  • Knowledge of National Strategy to Support Family Caregivers

  • Knowledge of the Administration for Community Living (ACL)

  • Knowledge of Recognize, Assist, Include, Support, & Engage (RAISE) Family Caregivers Act (preferred but not required)

  • Knowledge of the Grandparents Raising Grandchildren (SGRG) Act (preferred but not required)

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage group dynamics and resolve conflicts effectively.

  • This position is remote, but working hours are during the eastern time zone

  • Advanced in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

  • Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and integrate into day-to-day tasks

  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized

  • Friendly and professional demeanor

  • The Ability to Multitask and work independently with Minimal Supervision
