As a Data Management Analyst/Consultant, you will participate in low to moderately complex initiatives within Data Management. Your role involves identifying opportunities for process improvements, reviewing and analyzing basic or tactical Data Management assignments, and selecting alternatives related to low-to-medium risk deliverables. You'll present recommendations for resolving situations, exercise independent judgment, and develop an understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Additionally, you'll provide information to client personnel in Data Management.
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of relevant professional experience
2+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience (or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education)
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Define requirements
Examples include data lineage, data standards, and data remediation documentation
Transform data for new system migrations
Your work won't significantly impact day-to-day operations; it focuses on defining requirements as part of business-as-usual (BAU) support for the data team.
Top Skills:
Ability to run SQL queries (essential)
Alteryx tool experience (desired)
Google Data Cloud experience (preferred, as it aligns with an ongoing initiative)
Data cleansing expertise
Data migration experience
Understanding of SSIS packages and the ability to read data job details
Proficiency in reading and understanding SQL statements
Technical change analysis for data impact assessment
