A Day in the Life
The role involves strategic planning and development of training programs, ensuring they align with company and customer objectives.
It emphasizes continuous improvement by revising lesson plans to meet new training requirements and keep technical information up to date.
The specialist maintains ongoing communication with customers to ensure the effectiveness of the training programs, highlighting a strong focus on customer interaction4.
Work with peers and key stakeholders to develop overarching training strategy for multiple programs, key project targeting, delivery of core curricula, strategy to obtain US KOL inputs and key clinical assessments, development of substantiation targets and act as SME on material approval process

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


  • Identify, engage independently, and influence US KOLs to develop strategically aligned messages on Aortic Educational programs

  • Develop the strategy for the effective launch, management and execution of existing and new programs, related trainings and projects intended to maximize product/procedural outcomes

  • Act as a resource to HCP, leverage knowledge gained through direct clinician interactions and relationships, in order to address questions related approved products, Identify, plans, develops, and coordinates therapy and product training programs in collaboration with US HCPs and internal stakholders

  • Obtains information needed to prepare training programs; curricula, prepares training materials; develops course content and coordinates the development of training aids.

  • Ensures training program(s) meets company and customer objectives.

  • Maintains communication with customers to ensure effectiveness of training.

  • May utilize trainers with technical expertise.

  • Act as SME for internal stakeholders on Aortic T&E content and matters

  • Continuously revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date. Participation to US medical conferences is a requirement to keep knowledge and expertise relevant and update.

Must have:

Bacherlor's degree and minimum 7 years of program management, training and education experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience.

Training facilitation

Availability to travel up to 30% in the initial phase and 20% once relations with KOLs are established

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$120,800.00 - $181,200.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
