Description: Our Client Is Currently Seeking A Facilities Maintenance Supervisor For Their Facility in South Jersey. Candidates Must Have A Strong Facilities Maintenance Background ( Manufacturing ).
This job will have the following responsibilities:
Maintain fleet/operating equipment, forklifts, batteries, lifts, jacks, etc. - as per Maintenance protocol
Maintain, review and implement cost reduction strategies in the region, as they relate to efficiency operations of energy consumption and utilities in general
Maintain necessary staffing in company facilities, to include participation in Job Description and duty assignments, interviewing, hiring, day-to-day interactions, coaching as necessary to include disciplinary activities up to and including termination if warranted
Maintain oversight of daily workload for company Facilities Maintenance Technicians
Maintain relationships with vendors and monitor their performance to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to deadlines.
Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings in facility operations and sanitation processes.
Qualifications & Requirements:
AA Degree or GED
4+ years experience in supervision.
5+ years experience in a leadership role.
Ability to walk around the warehouse to gather information (frequent walking).
Must be able to stand and sit for 8 hours.
Must not have a fear of heights - required to get on a lift for inventory audits.
