Job Description:
Location: Fort Smith, AR
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Quality Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and follow food/beverage manufacturing industry standards
- Develop initial and subsequent modifications to our quality assurance program.
- Investigate quality issues and collaborate with management in other departments to establish effective quality procedures.
- Monitor cleanup procedures and provide training to employees on standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Manage our product recall program.
- Conduct facility inspections, identify deficiencies, and assist with corrective actions.
- Oversee the HACCP, SSOP, SOP, Master Sanitation, and Environmental sampling programs.
- Assist management in developing new products, including labeling, specifications, and addressing product complaints.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is highly preferred
• Previous leadership experience in quality assurance in a food manufacturing facility
• Strong knowledge HACCP and SQF
• Open to working 2nd shift
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
