Job Description:
As an Application Security Engineer, you will:
- Provide hands-on technical support for the Checkmarx and Checkmarx ONE platforms.
- Drive vendor accountability to address and resolve product defects.
- Support patching and upgrade testing processes.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Application Security Champions, development team members, and offshore partners.
- Ensure documentation is up-to-date, accurately reflecting process changes, with a keen eye for detail.
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in application security.
- 2+ years of experience with Agile methodologies and Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of the OWASP Top 10.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technology integration issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience with cloud technologies.
- 3+ years of scripting experience, particularly with Python.
- 2+ years of experience with SQL.
- Experience with static analysis.
- Administration experience with Checkmarx / Checkmarx ONE.
