Description: Our client is currently seeking a Sr Structural Analyst (MRB/Liason)
This job will have the following responsibilities:
Document non-conformance tags for spacecraft structures .
Analyse variations to part print specifications which effect part form, fit, and function.
Evaluate and provide a course of action regarding the ultimate disposition of the parts.
Evaluates areas of non-conformance regarding defects arising during the manufacturing process and as compared to the product definition requirements as defined by the drawings.
Perform design engineering analysis of discrepant machined parts manufactured in an aerospace manufacturing facility. For example, it may be used "as-is" with no corrective action, reworked to a condition that is acceptable for use, repaired, or scrapped.
This analysis will include performing tolerance stacks, stress, metallurgical, aerodynamic, dynamic, NDT, and heat transfer analysis
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum of a B.S. Degree in mechanical, aerospace or civil engineering
4-5 + years of experience with aircraft, spacecraft, launch vehicle.
