As a<strong> Telehealth Medical Assistant (MA) </strong>you will work closely with our clinical team and clients to provide virtual/remote support for patients. Our clients - large US health systems and global pharma organizations - rely on Current Health to provide video and telephone support when their patients are experiencing a technical or clinical problem.<br><br>This role is remote eligible, which means you would work virtually from home or another non-Best Buy Health/Current Health location.<br><br>Schedule: Your assigned schedule will include 12 shifts between 7:00pm - 7:00am EST and some weekends and holidays.<br><br><strong>What you'll do</strong><ul><li>Provide prompt, professional, and friendly front-line support for technical and non-urgent clinical issues</li><li>Reliably identify clinical concerns within your scope and escalate to a licensed clinician</li><li>Troubleshoot equipment and connectivity issues</li><li>Perform data entry</li><li>Schedule video and phone calls</li><li>Work collaboratively and flexibly with the Current Health team, both our clinical team and our broader organization</li></ul><br><strong>Basic qualifications</strong><ul><li>AAMA or CCMA Certification OR prior Military Medic/Corpsman experience required</li><li>Minimum 2 years experience in a fast paced, critical care environment required</li></ul><br><strong>Preferred qualifications</strong><ul><li>Experience working with Epic and/or Cerner preferred</li><li>Experience with Google Workspace (Google Suite) and Microsoft Office preferred</li><li>Experience working for a medical device, health IT, or digital health company preferred</li><li>Experience providing customer support via telephone and video preferred</li><li>Spanish fluency preferred</li></ul><br><strong>What's in it for you</strong><br><br>We're committed to helping our people thrive at work and at home.
