We are seeking a full-time Senior Process Quality Technician (2nd Shift) in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for partnering with Production Logitistics and Supplier Quality Teams in implementing, improving, and providing feedback in current and new manufacturing processes to ensure compliance and meeting production standards.
Essential Functions
Partner with AOEM team members by supporting daily operations and tasks as required
Develop, plan or apply expertise to develop and continuously improve production methods including layout, production flow, tooling and production equipment, and assembly methods requirements
Train manufacturing associates with the setup and operation of manufacturing equipment
Train production staff and take ownership for special projects as assigned
Apply statistical methods to analyze product or process performance
Prepare recommendations for reorganization of work cells and job duties to increase efficiency and eliminate excess processing steps and labor costs
Manage production metric data, prepare reports and present to peers and management
Evaluate equipment and processes to ensure associate safety
Must possess the ability to lift up to 55 pounds while using safe lifting techniques and standing for an entire shift
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
AOEM Process Technician: Must possess a minimum of 12 years manufacturing experience OR an Associate's Degree in a technical field AND a minimum of 10 years manufacturing experience
Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and superior organizational/analytical skills with keen attention to detail and quality
Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel
Demonstrated ability to lead a team and work collaboratively
Demonstrated ability to mentor level 1 and 2 technicians and a strong understanding of multiple areas of production process
Must possess the ability to lift up to 55 pounds while using safe lifting techniques and standing for an entire shift
Desired Qualifications
Associate's Degree in Electronics, Industrial, or Manufacturing Technology or related field
Previous experience with automated assembly and testing equipment
Previous experience with computer aided drafting (CAD) applications
Previous electronics soldering experience
