We believe these underlying skills are the most important part of the job:
Leadership. Your team's success leads to your own. You don't merely command them-you show them the way. You help them understand the effects of their contributions and give them the tools they need to succeed.
Knowledge. You always educate customers, from detailing loan options and teaching them about online banking to increasing your own knowledge so you can help both team members and customers. If you don't know something, you'll seek out the answer to help them.
Empathy. Putting yourself in the customer's shoes and seeking to understand their perspective is always important. Doing this can create an environment of open communication and mutual respect, leading to better customer service and a more productive working atmosphere.
Communication. You communicate honestly and professionally, taking the time to ensure everyone is on the same page. You build trust by sharing good news, praising publicly, and providing constructive coaching.
Innovation. You enjoy finding new solutions to old problems. You use data to help you identify issues and measure the impact of the process changes you implement. If a particular solution doesn't work as well as you hoped, you've got Plan B ready to go.
Inclusion. It is essential to foster an inclusive environment. By respecting and celebrating diversity, you can create a workplace where everyone feels welcomed and valued, leading to better customer service, improved team morale, and higher productivity.
