Responsibilities for a Structural Line Inspector include but are not limited to:
Safety, this is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Collaborating cross-departmentally, ensuring that workflow and resource allocation is efficient, orderly, and prioritized to schedule.
Gathering, creating, and maintaining records involving, but not limited to: in process checks, fit up quality, weld quality, primer quality.
Facilitating training based on team or individual performance and evolving quality standards.
Seeking continuous improvement in every facet of team performance with a keen emphasis on safety, quality, cost, and productivity.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Knowledge of fabrication reports and part drawings
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience with fabrication or detailing of metal building systems components
Prior experience working within a defined Quality Management System
Knowledge of fit up and weld standards per IAS AC472
Must have supervisor and/or manager recommendation and must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
