The Vehicle Specification Analyst is responsible for the capture and interpretation of manufacturer vehicle specification data, as well as the interface with key related processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Initial Model / Pricing setup process
Process incoming data files
Identify and make required manual changes or additions to the data
Ensure quality control by testing selected catalog vehicles and certifying vehicle data as being ready for ordering to include:
Base model specifications and pricing
Maintenance of current and historical pricing in accurate timelines to support price protection and invoice reconciliation
Standard, available, and package equipment codes, descriptions, and pricing
Interior and exterior color and trim
Technical specifications
Acquisition related financial components
Manufacturer specific special order codes
Government, municipal, and/or utility bid codes, descriptions, and related pricing
All related business rules (edits and associations) between the above as well as transmission specific detail
All of the above to be processed within department standard operating procedural guidelines for turnaround time and accuracy
Identify, record, communicate, and facilitate the resolution of data discrepancies
Manage incoming data files on a daily basis via the change management process.
Identify and communicate any changes requiring updates to be made to existing quotes, orders, or templates.
Daily management of manufacturer invoice reconciliation process to include:
Factory invoice reconciliation
Corrections to vehicle database as required
Corrections to client specific business parameters as required
Setup and management of bypass codes and amounts
Partner with the MPIC analysts in the researching of invoice discrepancies and order history, and contacting the manufacturers and/or dealers to obtain information.
Demonstrate and utilize a thorough knowledge of the manufacturer's systems and the interface to Wheels new vehicle order fulfillment applications
Support VOA's Ordering team and Response Center by serving as a subject matter expert on vehicle specifications and pricing
Cross-train to support multiple manufacturer lines, both U.S. and Canadian
Partner with IT to identify, record, and communicate systems issues, and provide support by testing application fixes or enhancements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent required.
College graduate preferred.
1-2 years experience in a position requiring a high level of attention-to-detail strongly preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The Vehicle Specifications Analyst will typically spend a good percentage of their time using a PC. Additionally, there will be occasions where telephone contact is required
