We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in technical accounting and public company financial reporting. In this role, you'll take the lead in preparing IFRS consolidated financial statements, crafting technical accounting memos, and handling other pre- and post-IPO reporting requirements. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and disclosures.

  • Assist in the evaluation of significant and complex accounting transactions, research and implementation of relevant accounting technical standards, and preparation of technical accounting memos.

  • Assist with documentation of policies and procedures over financial reporting where appropriate. Liaise with external auditors and other advisors.

  • Other special projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably for a listed company in the US or EU.

  • Knowledge of financial consolidations, eliminations, and segment reporting.

  • Ability to read and interpret accounting rules and guidance as well as perform research and conduct investigations as necessary.

  • Extremely organized, detail oriented and hard working. A roll up your sleeves attitude.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced setting.

  • Excellent written and speaking skills including preparation and presentation of verbal and written reports, presentations, and recommendations.

  • Knowledge of SAP and SmartNotes is a plus.
