Working with the Northwest Region, which includes operating companies across 5 states (WA, OR, ID, MT, CA), you'll perform operational accounting functions by collaborating with cross-functional teams. You'll perform and assist with a wide variety of tasks including accounting of our equipment, financial reporting and analysis, automation opportunities, and process improvements. Each day will provide you with new problems to solve, and you'll be empowered to find new and creative solutions.

Location: This is an in-person position out of our office in Spokane Valley.

Wage: $33.50 - $37.50 /hr DOE w/ potential for overtime

What You Can Do (Minimum Qualifications)

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Minimum Required Qualifications:


  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or closely related field.

  • 2+ years accounting experience in manufacturing or closely related industry.

  • Proficient computer skills required to include ERP software, Word, Outlook.

  • Advanced Excel skills required including queries and formulas.

  • Knowledge of accounting policies and procedures for GMP and US GAAP.

  • Excellent communication (oral, written) and presentation skills.

  • High standards of ethics, integrity, and trust.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

  • Detailed-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

  • A current authorization to work in the United States, and can pass pre-employment controlled-substance testing.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)


  • Complete equipment accounting relating to expense, revenue, and accruals ensuring equipment-related costs are accurately reflected in the Financial Statements.

  • Prepare monthly reporting, and ad-hoc reports, and complete financial analysis of data for senior management review.

  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues across operations and accounting departments to ensure accurate information is received and issues are resolved in a timely manner.

  • Participate in new company initiatives and support implementation.

  • Identify and implement process improvement and automation opportunities to increase productivity.

  • Work with Team on lease, equipment, and fuel accounting activities to strengthen efficiencies

  • Assist Equipment Controller with capital project tasks and functions when needed.

  • Ensure that the assigned daily operations are conducted in accordance with GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, and company established accounting principles, policies, and objectives.

  • Participate in and promote an inclusive work environment.

  • Regular and timely attendance.

  • Other duties as assigned by management and as business needs dictate.
