An investment management firm is seeking a fund accountant to add to their expanding team. This position will serve as a primary contact of operations and help the team with assigned tasks and special projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Review quarterly fund financial statements prepared by team members and administrators
Assist in auditing fund financial statements
Manage cash position entries and journal entries for a variety of private equity funds
Work independently with clients to address questions
Oversee aspects of the department's primary functions
Present the department's objectives and initiatives to internal staff and current or potential clients
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree (B.A., B.S., B.B.A.)
3+ years of experience
Knowledge of private equity fund services industry is a PLUS
Microsoft Office experience is a PLUS
