*What You Do. *

* Analyze information to understand business drivers and trends, and then develop meaningful insights & recommendations- presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership

* Support Sales, Category Management and/or Omni-Channel related projects including (but not limited to) analyzing pricing and promotions, assessing primary & secondary product placement, evaluating omni-channel shopper activity, and leveraging category insights to drive Sargento Sales execution and performance.

* Support strategic initiatives for key customers (e.g. Walmart, Kroger, Meijer, Publix and/or Albertsons) and growth channels (e.g. eCommerce, Convenience channel, Club, Vending)

* Participation, collaboration and contribution to cross-functional team meetings including trade, demand planning, category management and others

* Exposure to brand marketing, new product innovation, category insights and market research teams

 

*Your Education and Qualifications.*

* Pursuing a Business degree in sales, marketing or similar program having completed Sophomore year prior to start of internship or seeking an MBA, either accepted into a program or completed year one in the calendar year of internship.

* Passion for learning and growing in CPG Sales

* Ability to multi-task and take initiative

* Strength with strategic and analytical thinking

* Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

* Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and vehicle required. There is no mass/public transit system to/from corporate housing location to company locations.
