Major Function and Scope:
• Research vendor invoice discrepancies and collaborate with vendor to resolve in a timely manner.
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment status, general inquiries or missing required documents, etc.
• Effectively communicate with Business Partners, the Strategic Sourcing team, and Accounts Payable in the areas of POs, invoice processing, etc.
• Effectively communicate instructions to vendor on electronic invoicing process as necessary.
• Proactively educate vendors on the Tungsten invoicing system, as necessary.
• Identify opportunities for workflow and process improvement.
• Performs other duties as assigned.


Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or 2+ years of related work experience in that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential function of the job.
• Work in accounts payable in a manufacturing environment helpful but not required.
• Ability to collect and research data.
• Ability to analyze and problem solve from complex or diverse information, using solid analytical skills and experience to complement data.
• Appropriately balances accuracy and speed of execution within applicable corporate policies.
• Proficiency with all Microsoft applications.
• Working knowledge of SAP.

• Good oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communications skills; ability to effectively exercise tact, discretion, judgment, and diplomacy when interacting and/or negotiating with internal and external customers, and senior management, etc.
• Ability to maintain high level of accuracy while producing high volumes under time constraints. Willingness to pay great attention to detail.
• Ability to manage situations to which there has been no prior exposure or for which no clear road map exists.
• Ability and willingness to challenge the status quo, including the persistence and willingness to take calculated risk, to stimulate, market and sell new ideas within the organization.
• Ability to perform in a high-pressure environment and/or crisis situation and render good decisions to resolve the problems, maintain safety and ensure adherence to Corporate Code of Conduct.
• Strong sense of personal and professional ethics.
• Ability to manage change in high tempo environment.
