The Senior Practice Administrator is responsible for overall management of outpatient practices and provides leadership, guidance and direction to subordinate Physician Practice Management managers and supervisors in daily operations and fiscal management of assigned practice. Position is responsible for implementing strategies for growth and coordinating the use of resources.

ATTRIBUTES
Required: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Financial Management or Business Administration/Healthcare Administration.
Required: At least three years managing multi-site/multi-specialty practice operations, including related financial operations and analysis
Preferred: Master's Degree in Accounting or Financial Management or Healthcare Administration
Effective communication skills
Must be proficient and have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
Strong Interpersonal skills to effectively select, motivate, hire, retain, and staff; work on corrective action, manage provider, staff and leadership relationships
Superior analytical skills, both operational and financial.
Ability to summarize data in a meaningful and actionable manner.
Ability to understand and navigate through an electronic health record or patient medical record to abstract assigned metrics accurately and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments.

Statistical background in developing reports to monitor operations of health centers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Oversight
As assigned, is the identified Performance Manager for Practice Managers and Practice Coordinators across the Health System
Ensures that Practice Managers maintain staff and provider schedules.
Routinely monitors Key Performance Indicators on practice, provider and department basis, developing actions plans when KPI's are not being met.
Ensures that all providers and staff members are adequately trained in all areas of practice operations in collaboration with appropriate health system personnel
Ensures that all patient encounters, whether in person or via other communication mode are achieved in a professional, timely and accurate manner.
Acts as liaison and as the Operational Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Primary Care and Pediatrics as it relates to practice operations, and successfully manages provider relationships by championing expectations and addressing concerns
Works in tandem with Clinical Director to ensure regulatory compliance at assigned practice locations
Works collaboratively with applicable health system leaders to ensure delivery of high quality service to all patients.
Financial Oversight
Work with Director of Ambulatory Operations & Finance in development and implementation of front-end revenue cycle processes and efficiencies for the outpatient practices.
Supports coding, billing and other revenue processes originating at assigned ambulatory.
Works collaboratively with Director of Ambulatory Operations & Finance to oversee financial operations of assigned physician practices.
Works in tandem with Director of Ambulatory Operations & Finance in the preparation of budgets for assigned practices.
Monitors the budget to actual monthly reports, explaining any variances and taking operational action when needed.
Prepare reports as requested and work with decision support on data analysis
Creates ad hoc data reports as requested.
Other
Periodically reviews staffing for assigned practices, recommending adjustments as need to the Vice President of PPM.
Works with the PPM Leadership Team to resolve identified opportunities for improvement.
In conjunction with the PPM Directors and VP of PPM, develops annual training plan for frontline staff and PPM Leadership
Participates in ad hoc projects, as assigned
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
PAY RANGE: $93,000.00 - $126,000.00
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
