Xanitos is hiring Part Time Patient Concierge Attendants for 2nd shift at Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center in Houston, TX.

Job Overview:

Responsible for re-cleaning patient rooms in the evenings with a focus on high-touchpoint areas and full restroom cleaning. Ensure patient satisfaction through active engagement, addressing concerns, and providing a comfortable environment for patients. 

Daily Responsibilities:


  • Re-clean patient rooms focusing on high-touch areas, including door handles, light switches, bedside tables, and remote controls. 

  • Perform a complete clean of the patient restroom, ensuring all surfaces are disinfected and sanitized. 

  • Engage with patients during evening rounds to identify and address any concerns or requests regarding the cleanliness of their room or bathroom. 

  • Proactively check on patients’ comfort levels, responding to their needs in a timely and courteous manner. 

  • Collaborate with housekeepers and supervisors to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and patient satisfaction. 

  • Provide creative solutions and personalized attention to improve the patient experience. 

  • Maintain records of rooms cleaned and interactions with patients. 

  • Follow infection prevention protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff. 

  • Complete daily cleaning checklists and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate department. 

  • Assist in implementing and administering any special cleaning programs, such as deep-cleaning schedules or seasonal sanitation initiatives. 

  • Act as a liaison between patients and the Environmental Services team to resolve issues related to cleanliness and patient comfort. 

Job Qualifications:


  • Successful applicants for this position must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment.

  • Experience in the janitorial industry a plus

  • Medical cleaning a plus

  • Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required.
