Summary: Responsible for leading maintenance workers to ensure uptime of all production equipment, preventive maintenance program is current and active and all facility maintenance needs are met in a timely manner and in accordance with budgetary guidelines. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.



Typical Responsibilities:

  • Work with local department supervision and Facility Warehouse Manager to plan projects for material orders, man-hours and area down time.
  • Schedule and assign team tasks via department work order system(s).
  • Schedule preventive maintenance on all equipment with correct documentation needed to record all discrepancies.
  • Work with Facility Warehouse Manager to develop preventive maintenance schedule on all equipment and the building structure. Monitor parts and supply inventory to support scheduled repairs.
  • Gather proposals for major repairs by outside contractors and oversee project (work performed by contractor) while monitoring all city/county/state mandatory inspections for accuracy with follow through on documentation and completion dates.
  • Maintain and monitor the condition and appearance of the entire complex including the exterior, noting deficiencies and property damage. Work with Facility Warehouse Manager to plan corrective action to resolve deficiencies and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
  • Ensure department safety is communicated and followed to the highest standard by holding training classes for team members and monitoring daily work habits.
  • Asset management and organization of facilities department tools, recognizing safety, condition and request replacement when needed.
  • Communicate through email with all technicians and management within the department to have steady and consistent flow of knowledge of all shift events.
  • Work with management to keep maintenance costs at a minimum and within budgetary guidelines by collecting department data using appropriate software.



Requirements:




Minimum:

    • High School Graduate or GED
    • Minimum 5 years related experience.
