Job Description:

OVERVIEW iTech AG is seeking a strong ServiceNow developer to work on a SCRUM team and be available to assist others working in a team environment supporting our Federal Government customers.  RESPONSIBILITIES 


  • Responsible for client technical deliverables including client design documents. 

  • Assist with proposal solutioning under the direction of Capture Managers.  

  • Enforce systems design and architectural standards, maintain best practices, and drive the core principles throughout the systems delivery lifecycle.  

  • Provide input to Statements of Work (SOWs) and assist in presenting proposals to existing and potential clients.  

  • Work with Customer Managers, Architects, Subject Matter Experts, Solution Designers, and senior levels stakeholders.  

  • Collaborate with a larger group of Business SMEs, solution, and technical architects to elevate technical direction for the delivery of highly performing, transformative solutions.  

  • Provide input to the design of ServiceNow-based industry vertical solutions as a recognized Architect leader.  

  • Support implementation programs for complex enterprise-scale solutions.  

  • Maintain ServiceNow certifications with the latest delta exams.  

  • Achieve additional certifications as dictated by changing business needs.  

  • Establish as a technical liaison working to drive comprehensive solutions across the entire portfolio of stakeholders.  

  • Assist in gathering and reviewing client’s business objectives and provides the appropriate technical design, addressing both their short-term tactical needs and their long-term strategic needs.  

  • Review business requirement documents and/or user stories and provide technical solutions to align with those requirements. 

  • Provide technical design details in user stories that are complete, easy for developers to understand, and ready for development.  

  • Provide guidance, leadership, and technical oversight to technical resources to ensure best practice development on engagements.  

  • Provide input to the Release Planning sessions and Knowledge Transfer sessions. Coordinates with QA resources to ensure test cases are properly written/executed from a technical perspective. 

  • Provide hands-on development, when necessary.  

  • Accountable for all technology-related client-facing and internal deliverables. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

      QUALIFICATIONS 

    • Must have expertise in JavaScript.

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience with common web technologies and networking (e.g., XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, TCP/IP, etc.)  

    • 2+ years’ experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer. 

    • 2+ years’ experience with web services and scripted REST API development. 

    • Excellent communication skills and be able to provide and receive constructive feedback always remaining positive and focused on the goal.

    • Ability to decompose complex topics and experiences to explain them using whiteboards

    • Proven work experience running workshops, building out strategic roadmaps, and being able to defend architectural and technical deliverables.  

    • Experience working with customers to understand requirements and implementing information technology solutions/initiatives/service automation. 

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills to readily translate complex technical information to non-technical audiences. 

    • Experience in ServiceNow – CSM. 

     PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS  

    • Experience with the following ServiceNow modules:

      • HRM

      • Employee Center Pro



    • Understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including SSL, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, SOAP, SCP, FTPS, and JSON  

    • Expert-level working or developing experience with JavaScript. HTML5, Jelly, jQuery, and AngularJS a plus Directory service integration experiences (Active Directory, LDAP, etc.) and Single Sign-on using various authentication methods (token, SAML 1.1, SAML 2.0).  

    • Experience developing and implementing systems using Agile/Scrum methodology

    • Strong communication and customer relationship skills at the executive level, and ability to adjust for the audience appropriately.  

    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.  

    • Advanced knowledge of business process mapping techniques using tools like Visio.  

     EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS 

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management, Information Systems or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.  

    • ServiceNow CSA and CAD Certification is required. 

      CLEARANCE 

    • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

    • Pursuant to a government contract, U.S. Citizenship is required.
