The data scientist will work on developing machine learning and data analysis models for 1) biomedical natural language processing using large language models. The person will also be responsible for constructing databases to collect and organize related data. Minimum requirement: the MS in Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Statistics, Computational Biology, or related areas. Python or R programming skills and experience are required.
Assists in the execution of research objectives, data collection, and data management. Performs routine procedures, statistical analysis, scientific analysis, and reporting. Integrates data and data sets, performs descriptive and exploratory analysis, and creates routine reports and analysis reporting tools. Utilizes statistical software and adheres to all protocols.
Literature review; computation model development; programming and implementation; technical report and presentations.
Little physical effort required. Duties are primarily sedentary. May be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
