The Pediatric Imaging Research Center (PIRC) is an interdisciplinary research center operated by the Department of Pediatric Radiology at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC. The PIRC is staffed by pediatric radiologists, research technologists, research engineers, research nurses, research coordinators, systems administrators, research assistants, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and medical students.

The Pediatric Imaging Research Center is dedicated to conducting research and providing the highest level of care in an environment where safety, dignity and respect are our ultimate goals.
Manages day-to-day responsibilities for staff in research study administration, recruitment, and logistics. Develops and implements operational plans and systems for recruitment, data collection, and meeting project goals and deliverables. Ensures study protocols are met and adhered to and facilitates an organizational system for accumulated study data forms and procedures.
The incumbent will be responsible for providing high-level support for the Pediatric Imaging Research Center (PIRC). The position is a combination of grants management and clinical research coordinator roles. The successful candidate will work with the program leaders to submit and maintain grants, foundation and industry contracts, annual reports, IRB submissions and other regulatory documentation. Helps to manage a team that provides neuroimaging analysis for Pitt, CHP and external faculty.
The successful candidate will have superior skills for overseeing multiple complex projects, problem-solving skills, analysis and judgment. Will be interacting with faculty, staff, research patients and their families.
