Basic Job Functions:




Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.The role of the Credit Analyst includes, but is not limited to, providing transactional and analytical support to other departments including corporate as it relates to evaluating credit applications, setting credit limits, analyzing financial statements, maintaining daily accounts receivables, communicating collection matters and bankruptcies, maintaining and continuously improving internal controls, assisting in the month end close process, preparing weekly corporate reports, and reconciling cash accounts. We greatly value teamwork here at Nucor. Therefore, we share various finance and accounting responsibilities among our accounting teammates. Thus, other responsibilities may include assisting with scrap/raw materials management, accounting for purchase card and travel related transactions, performing intercompany transactions, account reconciliations, and other duties as needed by the team.




Minimum Qualifications:





  • 4 year degree in accounting or related field.






  • Preferred Qualifications:





  • 3+ years' experience in manufacturing finance/accounting.
