Our team is seeking a Dynamics 365 and C# Developer to join our fast-growing IT-project based consulting business. We need a team member who is ready to design, build, and implement innovative Dynamics 365 and C#/.NET applications to support the missions of our customers. We have several large projects, some established, some just getting started at the Department of Veterans Affairs and we need smart team members to help us deliver!

The successful candidate will be an inquisitive problem solver with the ability to quickly analyze the needs for specific projects and implement effective solutions with minimal direction. In this fully remote role, our projects require our team members to identify challenges and offer creative solutions. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Work and collaborate on a team of project managers, business analysts, developers/engineers, and QA staff within an Agile environment.

  • Interface with client representatives.

  • Analyze customer needs and contribute to the development of the overall design concept and objectives with an eye to performance, architecture, and security.

  • Contribute to MS Dynamics 365 cloud solutions based on business requirements.

  • Design and implement modular, testable, and reusable C# .NET applications, Plug-ins, and Azure microservices in the D365 ecosystem.

  • Participate in and/or lead requirements analysis and estimate level of effort.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture documents.

  • Write clean, scalable, and testable code using C# .NET.

  • Test and deploy applications and systems including Dynamics 365 Plugins and Azure App Services

  • Perform code reviews.

  • Monitor inbound data streams and respond to issues and interruptions.

  • Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).

  • Mentor junior developers and testers.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:


  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience as a software developer.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of on the job experience with C#.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of on the job experience in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem.

  • Demonstrated proficiency developing custom .NET components including web services, APIs, and plugins.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of practical experience with FetchXML.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Azure Functions in a microservice environment.

  • Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts effectively.

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience working in agile framework.

  • Experience with automated testing including mocks and fakes.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED:


  • Ability to troubleshoot and refactor legacy Dynamics applications, API’s and plugins.

  • Experience with Dynamics Portals/ADX Studio.

  • Experience with healthcare-related Dynamics 365 solution development is a plus.

  • Experience with working with Federal government agencies, specifically with VA is preferred.

EDUCATION:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field technical field. 

CLEARANCE: 


  •  Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
