We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Attorney with a focus on law and motion practice to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in insurance defense/OSHA litigation, particularly in drafting and arguing motions, conducting comprehensive legal research, and managing complex cases. This role demands a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and is dedicated to delivering exceptional legal services.
Key Responsibilities:
Litigation Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough litigation research and provide detailed analysis on a wide range of law and motion issues.
Case Management: Oversee complex litigation cases from inception through resolution, including drafting and filing litigation documents, preparing legal briefs, and representing clients in court.
Law and Motion Practice: Specialize in preparing, reviewing, and arguing motions, including drafting motion papers and responding to opposing motions.
Client Counseling: Provide expert legal advice and counsel to clients, ensuring their rights and interests are protected throughout the litigation process.
Document Drafting: Prepare and revise litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, with a focus on law and motion practice.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement litigation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
Collaboration: Work closely with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure comprehensive litigation support and effective case management.
Qualifications:
Bar Admission: Licensed to practice law in CA
Experience: 5 years of substantive litigation experience with a strong focus on law and motion practice.
Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Skills: Strong litigation research and writing skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple litigation cases and priorities efficiently.
