The Carlisle Polyurethane Systems team is looking for a Product Manager to join our Spray Foam business.


Job Summary:


The Product Manager for Spray Foam Insulation will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of our spray foam insulation products. This role involves working cross-functionally with R&D, engineering, marketing, sales, and customer service teams to ensure the successful development, launch, and performance of our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background with polyurethanes and building materials, excellent project management skills, and a passion for driving product innovation and market growth.


This job will be remote with the ability to travel 25-30% as needed.


Duties and Responsibilities:


* Product Strategy and Planning


* Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for spray foam insulation, aligned with the company's overall goals and market needs.
* Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform product development and positioning.
* Define product vision, roadmap, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track success and make data-driven decisions.
* Product Development and Management


* Lead cross-functional teams in the development of new spray foam insulation products, from concept to commercialization.
* Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure product designs meet quality, performance, and safety standards.
* Manage product lifecycle, including product launches, updates, and discontinuations.
* Market and Customer Engagement


* Be the expert of the competition - gather intelligence on competitive product, pricing, and promotion by conducting research and customer insights, and compile analysis in products and systems
* Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, pricing, and promotional activities.
* Provide sales support through training, product information, and customer engagement initiatives.
* Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve product offerings and address market demands.
* Articulate and cascade customer needs to applicable cross-functional teams
* Financial Management


* Develop and manage product budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to ensure profitability and alignment with business objectives.
* Monitor product performance against financial targets and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
* Compliance and Standards


* Ensure all products comply with industry regulations, standards, and certifications.
* Stay updated on changes in industry regulations and standards that may impact product development and marketing.

Education and Experience:


* Required:


* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
* Minimum of 10-15 years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience
* Certifications required
* Preferred:


* CPA or relevant professional certification
