In this role, you will have 5 core areas with the following responsibilities:



  • Create an environment in which everyone regards health, safety & continuous improvement as personal accountabilities.

  • Provide coaching for mill leadership, onboarding, and performance and career development.

  • HR Business Partner providing subject matter expertise to site leadership ensuring alignment with business processes, company programs, and policies.

  • Lead Change Management initiatives for the site.

  • Lead site efforts around high performance work systems to obtain alignment which promote continuing effective operations.

  • Manage the compliance work associated with regulatory activities and all civil actions against the site.

  • Develop, implement and manage programs that ensure a favorable employee relations climate sufficient to cause employees to consider the company/plant as a fair and equitable place of employment.

  • In conjunction with Health Services, provide overall site direction for the ADA, FMLA and Restricted Work Programs.

  • Support broad range of Local and Corporate strategic HR initiatives to progress HR function within the site.

  • Actively manage mill training programs which serve to improve technical problem solving, leadership, and organizational skills.

In one of our professional roles, you'll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:



  • Requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field.

  • Requires a comprehensive knowledge of Human Resources (10+ years of experience is required) to include Employee Engagement, Change Management, Organizational Design, state and federal labor laws and current economic and labor relations developments.

  • Previous experience as an HR Team Leader/Manager that has strong understanding of manufacturing functional areas and their interactions, and a working knowledge of continuous improvement /Lean manufacturing.

  • Must have demonstrated capability in problem solving, conflict resolution and working within site culture. In depth knowledge of business strategy, and specific HR functional knowledge.
