RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, a global $1.25B global Life-Sciences company, is seeking a Staff Accountant in Tewksbury, Massachusetts (MA). The Staff Accountant will support the global revenue accounting team on day-to-day GL accounting and ensuring compliance to GAAP and revenue guidelines. This is a hybrid role with the expectation to be on-site 2 days/week. The role offers a competitive salary, plus bonus.

Summary:
The Staff Accountant will support the Revenue Finance Team and will review and record revenue transactions. Additional responsibilities include forecasting, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, reconciliations, business partnering with sales, and ensuring revenue compliance with GAAP and internal policy.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS degree in Accounting/Finance


• 2+ years of revenue accounting experience (either public accounting or industry)


• Solid understanding of revenue recognition, ASC 606 & GAAP guidelines


• Strong Excel and analytical skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
