Your Role:



The primary responsibility of the Production Supervisor is to supervise a manufacturing team of 15-20 on various shifts, organize and monitor workflows to meet the required demands of the organization, and ensure the highest safety and quality standards are being met. The Production Supervisor will be required to interface with the Supply Chain Planning team to develop and execute a monthly production schedule. They will also require achieving a basic knowledge of all products manufactured at the Carlsbad facility. Production Supervisor will approve bi-weekly time sheets, ensure training is completed, conduct performance evaluations, and develop goals for each team member. Specific Responsibilities Include:




  • Read and interpret technical drawings such as piping and instrumentation diagrams and written procedures

  • Perform customer complaint and accident investigations and develop corrective/preventive actions

  • Develop Continuous Improvement processes

  • Proficient in Microsoft products ( Word, Excel, etc)

  • Demonstrated team leadership

  • Communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; and initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures




Who You Are:



Minimum Qualifications:





  • High School Diplomas or GED

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Industrial Management (Chemistry, Biology, etc.) but can be replaced with experience

  • 5+ years manufacturing experience

  • 3 + years in a leadership role in manufacturing




Preferred Qualifications:





  • Knowledge of SAP

  • Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)

  • Knowledge of stainless-steel processing or metallurgy

  • Knowledge of hazardous waste documentation and processing

  • Good interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication



Pay Range for this position - $49,500 - $148,900


Our ranges incorporate all levels and career types available within this specific role, and are derived from relevant industry market data.
