Threat Tec is seeking a qualified Crisis Response Campaign Planner to support the SOCPAC Operations Division with managing the Crisis Response (CR) portfolio. This role is integral to the administration of SOCPAC-sponsored Title 10 requirements for counter-terrorism (CT) and regional USSOF cooperation engagements. The CR Planner will play a key role in updating and maintaining the CR Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), coordinating with USSOCOM and USINDOPACIFIC CR staff, and supporting expeditionary command and control unit rehearsals.

Key Responsibilities

  • CR SOP Management: Update and maintain the Crisis Response Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Coordination: Coordinate with USSOCOM and USINDOPACIFIC CR staff to support crisis response efforts.
  • Exercise Support: Develop and support Joint Planning Group (JPG) iterations for bi-annual INDOPACOM and SOCOM crisis response exercises.
  • Crisis Planning: Attend and support USINDOPACOM Crisis Operational Planning Groups (OPGs) to meet crisis planning requirements.
  • Resident SMEE: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for crisis action planning, providing asset identification and solutions for the Commander.
  • Battle Rhythms: Assist in developing and managing daily crisis battle rhythms, including JPG production, briefings, and After-Action Reviews (AARs).
  • Administrative Support: Ensure timely coordination and development of administrative staffing actions supporting Title 10 programs, including program development, order establishment, bi-annual assessments, and fiscal reporting.
  • Leadership and Presentation: Lead or present at formal and informal meetings related to portfolio OAIs to various audiences.
  • Communication: Utilize excellent oral, writing, and coordination skills to communicate information clearly and concisely. Strong writing skills are required.
  • Knowledge of SOF: Apply knowledge and experience of US Special Operations Forces and their capabilities for Crisis Response options.

Measurable Skills and Qualifications

  • TS security clearance required; eligible for SCI and required SAP / STO.
  • Proven experience in crisis response planning and management.
  • Strong knowledge of US Special Operations Forces and crisis response capabilities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong writing abilities.
  • Experience in developing and managing SOPs, crisis battle rhythms, and administrative actions.
  • Ability to lead and present effectively in various formal and informal settings.
