Role: Sr Accountant (Direct Hire)



Location: Flushing, MI (On-site)



Pay: $80,000-$90,000



Premise: As a Sr Accountant, you are responsible for supporting the Controller and Manager with the overall accounting operation, to including journal entries, closing and preparation of financial statements


Key Responsibilities:


* AP/AR including review/3-way matching of vendor invoices and resolve discrepancies


* Work with customers to resolve billing variances


* Prepare monthly sales reports


* New vendor set-up and issuance of I9's


* Assist with Month/Year end closing


* Assist with preparation of accurate financial statements and reports


* Assist with annual audits


* Annual preparation of budgets


* Analyze variances from budget and/or forecasts


* Assist with forecasts to accurately project revenues, expenses and cash


* Establish and analyze costs of inventory


* Review and communicate job and product costing


Qualifications:


* 3-5 years in Manufacturing


* Thorough understanding of cost accounting


* Bachelors in accounting, Finance or related field


* Accounting ERP is a must
