Job Description:

The Role



In this role, you will primarily support the R&D teams to support ongoing identification of training needs, assignment of training items/curricula and function as an administrator for the Learning Management System (LMS). This role reports to the Sr. Director of the R&D Process Excellence and Training group.


Additionally, this role may also provide process and system support for the management of R&D procedural documents, i.e., standard operating procedures, (SOP), policies (POL), work instructions (WI).



Here's What You'll Do:



  • Day-to-day administration of the Learning Management System (LMS) in support the R&D organization


  • Manage training curricula in the LMS for the R&D organization including new hires.


  • Review and upload new learning content to the appropriate system(s) as needed.


  • Work with QA Document Control to ensure new documents are appropriately integrated with the LMS for training.


  • Collaborate directly with functional stakeholders responsible for training content and departmental curricula to ensure completeness and current status.


  • Collaborate with the Metrics/Reporting role to track identified training metrics and provide data, as needed.


  • Assist with the configuration of the LMS system and Document Management System (DMS) to support evolving training needs across functional areas, as needed.


  • Manage the review process and maintain document formatting standards for procedural documents, as assigned.


  • Perform tasks as needed to maintain GxP compliance.


  • Additional duties as may be assigned from time to time.





Here's What You'll Need (Minimum Qualifications)



  • BS/BA with 4 to 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical / biotech industry with experience in the training and/or document management environment.


  • Must have experience with a validated LMS and DMS e.g., SAP SuccessFactors and Veeva Quality Document system or equivalent.


  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional matrix environment.


  • Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.

  • MS degree with 2 to 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry with experience in the training/document management environment.






  • Basic knowledge of a Quality Management System preferred.
