Description: Our client is currently seeking a Packaging Engineer Manager
This job will have the following responsibilities:
Utilize extensive knowledge of process development, packaging technology, and operations to create creative solutions and promote advancements in packaging operations.
Provide and maintain technical documentation, such as guidelines for packaging testing.
Set project priorities and collaborate closely with the purchasing and commercialization teams.
Establish KPIs for both the internal team and outside vendors.
Assume leadership of the packaging group and oversee the creation, testing, and design of the materials and supplies.
Qualifications & Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in an engineering, related chemistry, packaging science, or packaging field
A minimum of three years of people management and five years of packaging experience
CPG background
Experience designing films and bags for packaging manufacturers
Strong organizational, planning, analytical, and time-management abilities to carry out project plans successfully
Knowledge of the corrugate industry and its applications
Advanced proficiency using a PC:
