POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT



Dual Enrollment Coordinator


The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Crump is accepting applications for the full-time position of Dual Enrollment Coordinator. The Dual Enrollment Coordinator is to support the College in directing College affairs related to K-12, Dual Enrollment and Early Post-Secondary Opportunities.



Typical Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Serve as primary contact and coordinator of all Dual Enrollment and early post-secondary opportunities (EPSO) offered by TCAT-Crump.

  • Review, plan, organize, coordinate and direct dual enrollment instructional programs.

  • Recruit and coordinate instructional staff for dual enrollment courses.

  • Create training materials, implement orientation programs and professional development for dual enrollment faculty and staff.

  • Work closely with elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, to assist students in choosing a career that will lead to high-skill, high-wage, and high demand occupations.

  • Develop, expand, coordinate, monitor and track work-based learning activities related to dual enrollment programs of study.

  • Engage K-12 and Post-Secondary Educators and Business and Industry partners to plan and implement Educator Externship Program.

  • Write and submit dual enrollment related grant proposals and provide oversight for grant projects, including management of grant funds and reporting.

  • Serve as Perkins V Grant Coordinator.

  • Work with Student Affairs to coordinate the planning and implementation of Student Activities, Student Organizations, Disability Services, Student Recognition, as appropriate for dual enrollment programs.

  • Ensure dual enrollment student conduct, progress and attendance is monitored and addressed as needed.

  • Work closely with Student Affairs to increase the retention and success of dual enrollment students after high school graduation.

  • Oversee and participate in the compilation, maintenance, and submission of EPSO related reports as required by federal, state, and accrediting agencies.

  • Serve on the Strategic Enrollment Management Workgroup in developing and evaluating a college recruitment plan and admissions strategies.

  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.



Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

  • 2 to 5 years' leadership experience in education or related field.

  • Experience with and knowledge of EPSO, Dual Enrollment, Dual Enrollment Grant, would be beneficial.

  • Good analytical skills and exceptional communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation skills), combined with an orientation for details and creativity. Ability to concentrate/focus for long periods.

  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours, and travel to off campus locations, schools, businesses, industries, conferences, and workshops.

  • Valid Driver's License




Working Conditions:



  • Heavy use of computer

  • Normal standing, sitting, and walking.

  • Operating a motor vehicle to travel within the college service area and in other areas as needed.



Salary: Commensurate with Tennessee College of Applied Technology salary guidelines
