WHO YOU ARE & WHAT YOU'D DO?
The Human Resources (HR) Generalist is responsible for performing a wide range of HR functions, including payroll, benefits administration, compliance, onboarding and offboarding, and employee relations. With facilities and employees in multiple states, an understanding of multi-state nexus and the ability to connect with employees in person and virtually will be necessary. The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting the overall HR strategy and contributing to the development of a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

EMPLOYEE RELATIONS & ENGAGEMENT (40%)

Assist Recruiter with creating and facilitating a streamlined, efficient onboarding process.
Address employee concerns promptly and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
Use a continuous improvement approach to enable and empower employees to self-serve with HR information and matters where possible.
Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to review and resolve workplace issues promptly and effectively.
Support Build Week planning and execution.
Assume a leadership role within AMI's Culturevators team, leading Employee Health & Wellness (H&W) efforts.

Consistent and supportive on/offboarding experience.
I-9s verification.
Documented exit interviews.
Documented employee counseling conversations and expectations.
HIPPA?and?legal?compliance.
Lead meeting with members of Health & Wellness group.
Facilitated events, educational internal posts, etc. as decided by H&W group.
Balanced H&W budget.

Trimester Employee Net Promotor Score (eNPS) score of > 90%

PAYROLL & BENEFITS ADMINISTRATION (30%)

Oversee payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions.
Collaborate with finance to reconcile payroll and resolve any discrepancies.
Administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and more.
Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries, facilitate open enrollment processes and socialize benefits to ensure employee optimization.

Bi-weekly payroll processed.
Up-to-date ACA?information.
Employees educated on available benefits and eligibility requirements.
Accurate entry of all benefits information in payroll system & on carriers' sites.
Accurate, digitally stored confidential employee enrollment forms.
Open Enrollment documents and supporting process.

100% on time, 100% accurate payroll bi-weekly

HR COMPLIANCE (30%)

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment requirements and multi-state nexus.
HR policy and procedure management and communication.
Act as a key stakeholder in the intersection between policy and culture to ensure AMC is a great place to work.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
Generate HR reports and metrics as needed.
Reconcile HR budgets.
Facilitate training sessions on HR-related topics for staff and managers.

Impact summaries provided when exploring nexus in a new state.
Open/closed nexus in states AMC operate in.
Subject Matter Expert (SME) on policies and procedures within employee handbook.
Miscellaneous employee data reports provided on request.
Reconcile benefit invoices, working in collaboration with Accounts Payable and/or brokers/carriers as necessary.
Training for employees & managers on a variety of HR topics.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

A burning desire to help other people lead their best lives.

A thirst for learning and leveraging technology to create efficiencies within our day-to-day work.
A proven ability to communicate effectively and build lasting interpersonal relationships across all levels of the organization.
Minimum of 1 Year experience in HR; 2-3 years preferred.
High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred.
Ability to address and resolve employee issues and HR challenges effectively.
Willingness to take on a variety of HR tasks and adapt to changing organizational needs.
Handling confidential information and sensitive issues with professionalism and ethical conduct.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Nice-to-Haves: Experience with WorkforceGO!, Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), Predictive Index practitioner.
