Job Description:

Job Summary


The Imaging Supervisor oversees the day-to-day projects and personnel within the Imaging Center.  They interface and communicate daily with customers (internal/external), resolve issues, plan and staff for projects, adhere to department standards, and monitor timelines and results. The Imaging Supervisor is instrumental in driving production through the Imaging Center personnel by leading and mentoring the imaging personnel.


Primary Functions:  



  • Provide daily direction to team members in order to accomplish projects. Manage project timelines, quality and outcome of Customers orders.

  • Perform preliminary inbounding on imaging batches and projects and schedule into production.

  • Lead, mentor, cross train and provide accountable standards and measures to the department team members.

  • Control overtime of imaging team members as necessary and ensure that work schedules are being adhered to.

  • Set production schedule for imaging team and monitor achievement using a variety of reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

  • Participate in forecasting.

  • Research and resolve customer issues, modify work procedures as needed to meet customer demand.

  • Manage HR related items: scheduling vacation, managing timecards, assist in performance reviews, assist in hiring and termination processes.

  • Ability to assist in the invoicing process.




Secondary Functions:



  • Participate in safety and security drills.

  • Know and understand defined role in the Company Disaster Recovery Plan.




Other Responsibilities:



  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.

  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.




Education and Years of Experience:



  • High School diploma required.

  • 2 year college degree preferred.

  • Must have 4 years experience in similar environment, preferably within a service industry.

  • At least 2 years supervisory experience including hiring, training, writing performance appraisals, administering the disciplinary process, in a team-focused environment is required.

  • Experience with customer interaction is required.




Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 



  • Must have a strong understanding of imaging processes.

  • Must have demonstrated leadership skills with strong technical background and organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated basic billing knowledge.

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written with ability to communicate effectively with management personnel.

  • Demonstrated supervisory skills including providing team member feedback and direction.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Ability to guide, direct, and lead team members through periods of change.

  • Ability to schedule personnel and manage project workflow to meet SLA’s.


 
Physical Requirements (lifting, etc.): 



  • Routine lifting of 20–60 lbs.

  • Routine scanning of materials.

  • Overhead reaching.

  • Bending and stretching.

  • Sit and Stand for long periods in the day.

  • Routine pushing and pulling boxes and pallet jacks.

  • Able to operate forklift, pick lifts, and/or pallet jacks.
