Summary/Overview:
As a ServiceNow Subject Matter Expert (SME)-App Engine Team Lead, you will be a key player on the Platforms Engineering Team. You will also be at the forefront of implementing and optimizing ServiceNow solutions across all modules. This role requires hands-on experience with ServiceNow App Engine (Low Code, No Code), scripting, orchestration, and integration with other tools, driving automation and efficiency. In this role you will execute projects leading internal and external vendor teams…as well as leverage your expertise to architect and implement innovative solutions that meet organizational needs and enhance operational capabilities.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Technical Vision and Strategy: Develop and implement technical strategies for ServiceNow App Engine, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
2. Solution Design and Development: Design and develop low-code/no-code solutions on the ServiceNow platform, utilizing technical expertise to optimize application performance and user experience.
3. Team Mentoring and Guidance: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality deliverables.
4. Platform Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the ServiceNow platform to ensure scalability, efficiency, and reliability, leveraging low-code/no-code capabilities where possible.
5. Technical Governance and Compliance: Ensure technical solutions comply with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, providing proactive security guidance and risk management.
Soft Skills:
· Solid Written/verbal communication
· Experienced and comfortable interfacing, collaborating, and running meetings with different business units, stakeholders, management, leadership, both technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Skills/Expertise
· ServiceNow Low Code Platform Hands-on experience (This is a must)
· 5+ years hands-on experience using various ServiceNow verticals.
· 3-5 years direct experience with ServiceNow App Engine vertical
· Experience developing Apps using App Engine Low Code/No Code
· Very strong knowledge and experience in Workflow implementation with ServiceNow
· API Integrations using App Engine
· Experience working for large enterprise applications
· Tech/Team Lead experience
· Ability to effectively manage team, assign & review tasks
· Managing/Collaborating with Contractor resources from 3rd party vendors
· Ability to partner with other Technologists and Architects for integrations and implementations
Compensation
The below annualized base pay range is a broad range based on analysis of similar positions in the market. The actual base pay for the position may be above or below he listed range and determined by a few considerations, including but now limited to complexity, location, and scope of the role, along with experience, skills, education, training, and other conditions of employment. Base salary represents one compensation of Allied World comprehensive total reward package, which may also include annual incentive compensation rewards.
Salary range: $180K-$200K
