PPG is now hiring a Production Supervisor in Little Rock! As the Production Supervisor, you have direct supervisory responsibility for a designated production area.

You will report to the Production Manager. This will be first shift 4:00am - 1:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Leads an assigned Production Area including safety, team focus on risk reduction, and improvements.


• Plan daily work and assign resources and monitoring results.


• Hire, mentors, counsels, and coach employees related to performance and company procedures.


• Prioritize and maintain production progress including workflow by observing: steps in process; constraints in flow and equipment, monitoring staffing and resources, studying methods; implement cost reductions; facilitate corrections and recovery efforts of flow.


• Compile reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.


• Ensure operation of equipment by calling for repairs, evaluating new equipment and techniques.


• Provide manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data, answering questions, and responding to requests.


• Lead fellow supervisors to resolves employee problems by analyzing data; investigate issues; identify solutions; recommend action.

Qualifications:

• Five (5) years minimum experience in management.


• Minimum of 5 years' experience working in a production/manufacturing environment required. Preferably in a lead role.


• Experience with Workday is desired, and digital proficiency in Microsoft Office required.


• High school Diploma or equivalent education degree required. Bachelor's degree in a relative field preferred.


• Experience with employee leadership or management, coaching, employee engagement, and mentorship required.


• Ability to manage processes and process change, resource planning, and production planning required.


• Previous experience with Lean Methodology, process improvement, and 5S preferred.


• Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident.


• Experienced with Kronos, and QAD preferred.
