Do you have experience working in collaborative agile team and supporting multiple highly complex business processes ?

As a Business Analyst II, you will be a part of a collaborative agile team whose end goal is to provide data to support enterprise Finance systems.

A business analyst reviews, analyzes, and evaluates the end user needs as defined by the persona and strategic goals of the product team mission to draft and create user stories and specifications for acceptance criteria to meet the needs of the Epics and Features laid out by the Product Owner and Design team.

What you'll do… 


  • Be responsible to a Finance product manager establising SME level system expertise and supporting  multiple highly complex business processes.

  • Create and refine user stories with little to no coaching from peers and/or the Product Owner based on features that are sometimes not well-defined.

  • Serve as a liaison and individual contributor between Technology and Digital Product Management and Finance divisions to ensure alignment between business needs and delivered capabilities.

  • Collaborate with other portfolio associates including software engineers, user experience designers/researchers, scrum master and quality team members to ensure deliverables support acceptance criteria; and are aligned with broader Feature/Epic goals.Understand the technical strategy and system integrations to identify, communicate, and track divisional dependencies for features and user stories in partnership with the Product Owner and development team.

  • Collaborate with Quality Engineering (QE) and development team to develop repeatable test strategies/testing plan based on acceptance criteria to enable successful sprint execution.

  • Supports the delivery of incremental and continuous value to the end users and ensures the final implementation of features and capabilities delivers the expected user value.

  • Assist the Product Owners and stakeholders to define minimum viable products (MVPs) and establish iterative plans for delivering value to target audiences using epics and features.

  • With minimal support, investigate and troubleshoot production issues using elementary and some advanced tools and techniques; work with the users to resolve the issue or escalate issues when needed.

  • Participate in Agile and Product Management team events such as backlog refinements, retrospectives, solution demos, and system demos.

  • Continues to develop understanding of firm priorities, processes, and guidelines as we continue to move through transitional change across the organization.

  • Mentor less experienced members of the team.

  What you'll need…


  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience designing and implementing functional systems and data or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Previous experience with PeopleSoft Financials

  • Previous experience with Oracle Fusion (Financials)

  • Previous experience with data extraction (SQL understanding)

  • Previous experience with Agile and/or Product Management concepts such as user story writing, Agile events, and backlog refinement


  • Troubleshooting skills to investigate, resolve and escalate problems. Identifies need for technical assistance to help in problem resolution.

  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with associates and general partners; possess expert interpersonal and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to support multiple moderate to highly complex efforts, and work with leadership to prioritize assigned tasks/projects.

  • Ability to summarize moderate to highly complex business cases, system information and concepts and clearly communicate information and updates to stakeholders and divisional leadership.
