As a Business Manager III at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you will have the outstanding opportunity to lead day-to-day activities of client accounts, ensuring exceptional client service and satisfaction. In this role, you will be the primary contact for client questions, issues, and feedback, building strong client relationships and driving the success of commercial and development projects.
A Day in the Life:
Act as the primary contact for client questions, issues, and feedback, providing premier service and support
Facilitate business review meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with clients
Create and maintain project schedules, coordinating forecasting and demand planning for client prioritization
Build and maintain billing plans and schedules for service revenue, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve significant client issues, protecting company and client interests
Serve as the client site representative, ensuring the best-in-class service for clients
Input accurate demand forecasts into the Site & Operation (S&OP) cycle, analyzing monthly revenue forecasts
Ensure adherence to contractual requirements, provide supplementary services, and handle annual contract pricing.
Facilitate project closure and launch reviews, ensuring detailed execution
Identify new sales and portfolio expansion opportunities within site processes
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Science, Business, or related field required
Master's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Experience:
1+ yrs of pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
Client interface experience required
Equivalency:
Equivalent combinations of education, training, and meaningful work experience may be considered.
Proficiencies:
Strong interpersonal and communication capabilities
Familiarity with GMP and the pharmaceutical industry highly desirable
Well-organized and detailed, with excellent negotiation skills
Leadership and conflict resolution skills preferred
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and handle overall client relationships
Physical Requirements:
Position requires ordinary ambulatory skills and physical coordination sufficient to move about office locations; visual acuity to use a keyboard, computer monitor, and read materials for prolonged periods of time.
