Overview
The Director of Spa Operations oversees the daily operations and management of the Spa, including personnel management, budgeting, property management, regulatory compliance, and fostering a positive work environment for guest and team satisfaction in a luxury resort setting.
Responsibilities
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in health/beauty spa environment.
• Demonstrate proficiency in translating financial and operational data into actionable plans.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Proficient in presenting and persuading stakeholders with innovative concepts.
• Knowledge of and adherence to employment laws in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Proficient in written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees.
• In-depth knowledge of luxury spa, salon, and wellness programs/products, particularly in an upscale resort environment.
• Familiarity with accounting processes such as payroll, budgeting, and financial management.
• Demonstrated successful team leadership and management experience.
• Massage or skincare license/certification preferred.
• Familiarity with retail and professional product inventory management.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications, Spa software, POS systems, etc.
