Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of System Administrator within our team.



Responsibilities:



  • Determine organization/Project needs and identify system specifications

  • Analyze the needs of large systems and breaking them down into smaller manageable parts

  • Plan and design the structure of technology systems, discuss these with the client

  • Understand and Communicate best technical options for project / client

  • Develop and Communicate system requirements to developers; explain technical details to them and provide assistance throughout the execution of project life cycle.

  • Propose most optimal software, hardware solution for the project.

  • Oversee development and implementation of assigned tasks and guide teammates

  • Help resolve technical problems as and when they arise

  • Ensure no compromise to quality of the system and it manageable and scalable over the period of time.

  • Ensure that systems security, quality standards and procedures as per client and industry best practices

  • Work with senior IT personnel to come up with plans for future IT requirements of the organization

  • Produce progress reports for sr. leadership

  • Guiding the Technical Team and resolving the performance issues

  • Installing and configuring the JBoss AMQ, JBoss Fuse, JBPM, OpenAM and OpenDJ




Qualifications:



  • A bachelor's degree

  • 12 + years of professional work experience (or equivalent experience) is required.

  • 8 - 12 + years of experience with Red Hat Linux, Java, Apache HTTP server, JBOSS suites (Application server, AMQ, Fuse, JBPM), JBOSS Web console, JBOSS Profiler, Open AM/OpenDJ

  • Knowledge on Scheduler and Batch process

  • Experience working in State and/or Public Sector domain



The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current annual range is $116,00 to $191,300.
