As a SQL Developer, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining SQL code and related reports. Your primary duties will include:
Developing new and modifying existing T-SQL / PL-SQL code.
Tuning stored procedures and troubleshooting performance issues.
Creating complex SSIS packages using data from various sources.
Developing advanced SSRS reports.
Optimizing the performance of SSRS reports and related SQL code.
Interpreting business requirements provided in written or verbal form.
Actively gathering and documenting complex technical requirements through discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Clearly explaining intricate technical problems and concepts to non-technical audiences.
Thoroughly documenting new and existing work.
Working efficiently under tight deadlines with limited documentation.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with SQL, SSIS, and SSRS development.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.
Required Skills:
Extensive experience with databases such as DataStax, DB2, and LUW.
Proficient in SQL development.
Ability to collaborate closely with DBAs to write complex SQL scripts.
Experience with replication tools.
