The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable process, ensuring that all invoices are accurately prepared and sent to clients, and following up on outstanding payments. This role is crucial in maintaining the company's financial health and ensuring timely collections.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and send invoices to clients.
Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts.
Follow up with clients on overdue invoices via phone, email, and mail.
Maintain accurate records of all receivables and collections.
Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy in billing and collections.
Prepare regular reports on the status of accounts receivable.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies.
Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Proven experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
