Compensation Range
Annual Salary: $100,500.00 - $157,000.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)
About This Job
The main purpose of this job is to provide general trading and operational support to the CTP team
Essential Functions
Collaborate with the Commercial Tradable Products (CTP) Trading Staff to handle all trading, administrative and operational functions necessary to provide high quality customer service to the CTP salesforce, operations staff and Commerce Bank customers
Become familiar with the products traded within CTP and effectively execute customer orders
Provide a high comfort level for the sales and trading staff to ensure that orders and transactions are handled timely and accurately
Manage at-risk positions to meet demand of customer base comprised of banks, corporations, public entities, registered investment advisors, and other middle market institutions
Effectively communicate with underwriting staff in order to determine pricing and assist with structuring decisions
Maintain written and verbal communication with customers, vendors and internal employees
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Strong knowledge of the fixed income industry
General knowledge of economics including behavior of interest rates relative to various market events
Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
5+ years trading experience required
Project management experience preferred
Series 7 & 63 licenses required
Bloomberg and Bloomberg TOMS experience preferred
