The McKesson Third Party Logistics team is hiring a Project Manager to join the project management office (PMO).
In this role, the Project Manager will work closely with Program Management, Operations, Quality, and IT teams to drive strategic initiatives. The project manager will be responsible for creating and executing on project plans from initiation to closing stages leveraging PMBOK guide best practices, participating in the generation and execution of stakeholder engagement and communication plans, and leveraging leadership and influencing skills in a matrix organization and across multiple functional units. Experience should include driving all aspects of multiple projects in an agile environment, and managing communications and expectations across McKesson 3PL teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership. A background in business process analysis, quality processes, IT system implementation, change management and lean Six Sigma is beneficial. This position requires a collaborative, adaptable, and results-focused individual with excellent communication, administrative and organization skills.
Key Responsibilities
Ability to plan, organize, and monitor projects from initiation to closing stages to drive strategic initiatives
Create and maintain project plans, action tracking tools, governance tools and controls
Foster stakeholder engagement, a communications protocol and report on project health, status, and deliverables
Assess project risks and provide mitigation strategies
Incorporate business and stakeholder feedback to suggest modifications to project plan
Possess adaptability and flexibility to take on PMO projects already in progress
Lead in a fast-paced environment with changing needs and ambiguity
Assist with project closing activities including leading sessions on lessons learned
Critical Knowledge and Skills
Strong communication and presentation skills

Familiarity with project management software
Demonstrated experience with large scale and cross-functional projects
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience with Technology and Quality projects
Minimum experience:
4+ years of project management experience
Experience in executing PMBOK best practices and working within a PMO preferred
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
PMP certification preferred
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus

$75,400 - $125,600
