We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IS Quality Assurance Manager join our organization. As an IS Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the quality assurance processes and activities within our IS department. Your primary objective will be to ensure that our software systems and applications meet the highest quality standards, comply with regulatory requirements, and meet the needs of our users. This is a crucial role that requires a strong technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:
1.    Quality Assurance Strategy and Planning:


  •  Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy, policies, and procedures to ensure the effective testing and validation of software systems.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, managers, and development teams to define quality standards, goals, and objectives.

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate quality assurance activities across multiple projects.

2.    Quality Assurance Process Management:


  • Define and establish testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks to ensure efficient and effective testing processes.

  • Design, develop, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

  • Conduct thorough analysis of requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to ensure test coverage and traceability.

3.    Test Execution and Defect Management:


  • Lead and supervise a team of quality assurance professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.

  • Coordinate and oversee the execution of test cases, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

  • Monitor and track defects, issues, and risks, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate escalation.

4.    Test Automation and Continuous Improvement:


  • Identify opportunities for test automation and lead the implementation of automated testing frameworks and tools.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality assurance processes, methodologies, and tools.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and technologies related to quality assurance and software testing.

5.    Collaboration and Communication:


  • Foster effective collaboration and communication between the quality assurance team, development teams, project managers, and stakeholders.

  • Provide regular status reports, metrics, and updates on quality assurance activities to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.

  • Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to other teams regarding quality assurance best practices.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.

  • Proven experience as an IS Quality Assurance Manager or in a similar role, with a track record of successful delivery of high-quality software projects.

  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, processes, and tools.

  • Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools.

  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.

  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
